unique thermoplastic roving consisting of commingled unidirectional thermoplastic and glass fibers. Its mechanical characteristics are comparable to those available in thermoset composites, with the added advantage of excellent impact resistance and recyclability. It can be used in low-pressure molding applications in the consumer and recreational markets, such as kayaks.

Twintex also performs well in high-pressure applications suitable for the automotive industry, as well as in low-pressure laminating applications for trucks. Twintex can be engineered to offer anistropic properties. Fabrics are available in plain, twill or satin weaves, and knits.
